Roller Replacement
Customer Issue: Mrs. Rice reached out to us to fix her garage door and its recent issue with moving more slowly than usual.
Our Solution: Problems such as Mrs. Rice’s tend to usually come from a problem with the garage door rollers or the tracks, so our experts checked these areas first after testing the door for ourselves. We determined that the rollers were breaking down thanks to age, and causing the door to have problems moving. Our team opened the tracks and removed the broken rollers, replacing each of them.
New Garage Door Installation
Customer Issue: The customer needed a new garage door installed quickly and expertly, so he contacted us to get it taken care of.
Our Solution: This customer had already picked out and purchased his new Amarr Hillcrest model door for his home, so our team prepared it for installation. Its rollers were inserted into the tracks, springs, and cables attached, and finally, the opener was connected. The system was also tested to assure it was working smoothly.
Opener Repair
Customer Issue: The opener refused to activate, despite all the lights being on and everything apparently being connected.
Our Solution: After noting that the drive screw didn’t seem to be moving at all, our technicians unplugged the opener and had a look inside of it. As they suspected, there was a broken motor component, and replacing it restored full functionality.
Track Replacement
Customer Issue: Damaged tracks.
Our Solution: Not only were this customer's garage door tracks seriously bent, they'd become very rusty as well. We replaced them with new tracks and then lubricated the rollers to ensure their working efficiency and silent operation.
Spring Replacement
Customer Issue: Broken garage door spring.
Our Solution: It's never easy to deal with this type of device as the dangers are always present. We carefully removed the part in question and fitted a new one in its place. We then opened the door a handful of times to make sure it was balanced and that the tension of the spring was properly adjusted.
Garage Door Troubleshooting
Customer Issue: Opener doesn't work.
Our Solution: We started by inspecting the unit's power supply to make sure it wasn't damaged. Then we opened the main box and checked the motor and the circuit board. Turns out the latter of the two was fried, so we removed it and replaced it with a new board. The opener was fully functional after that.
